Sunday, August 20, 2023 • 3 Elul 5783
6:00 PM - 8:00 PMPortland KollelAre you seeking a way to connect with your inner self and express your creativity through movement? Do you want to explore your Jewish identity and spirituality in a supportive and joyful environment? If so, join us for Neshama Dance, a guided personal journey of self-discovery through intentions and movement.
Neshama Dance was created by our dear friend Shirona Lurie, who passed away this June. She was an artist and dancer who had taught and performed for more than 40 years and was an integral part of the Portland community.
No dance experience is needed to participate. All you need is an open mind and heart, comfortable clothes, and a willingness to have fun.
Neshama Dance will be led by Nurit Arron Kahana, MA, Dance Movement Therapist, who has extensive experience in facilitating therapeutic and creative dance groups. Nurit will provide a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your emotions, thoughts, and sensations through movement.
This event will take place on Sunday August 20 at 6:00 pm at the Portland Kollel. There is no charge for this event. Donations are appreciated. Space is limited, so please register in advance.
Presented by the Kesser Israel Sisterhood and Portland Kollel
